After watching Matsugane Yôko's Kindan for the first time, my immediate thought was “That was Chichi Gurui and Chichi Mamire done right.” If you haven't seen the latter discs, they were complimentary release, theme wise: the former presented Yōko in very passive roles, while the latter and her in an aggressive, almost predatory role. Chichi Mamire (Matsugane Yôko) review
Matsugane Yôko's latest twin releases (yes, that would be a pair of DVDs, not her breasts), Chichi Mamire and Chichi Gurui, could be considered complimentary releases, thematically speaking. The latter has Yōko in a very submissive, passive role – she is tied up and harassed in pretty much every scene. In contrast, Chichi Mamire portrays her as no less than a total sexpot, with no hint of shyness or self-doubt. Chichi Gurui (Matsugane Yôko) review
Matsugane Yôko appears to be taking a much more active interest in her DVDs if the twin releases Chichi Gurui and Chichi Mamire are any indication: she is the producer for both discs and obviously business savvy enough to realize that it would foolish to fight the current trends in idol DVDs, so she has continued her to push the envelope further with each release: raunch, apparently, sells, and both discs are fully committed to showing you as much of Yōko as possible without actually showing viewers the goodies. 'Am I seeing things or is Yôko pseudo-banging a mannequin?'
I received an email recently from Richard R, and those were his exact words. First off - thanks Richard... that really made my day. I just find something inherently funny about that phrase. What he's referring to are recent entries on Matsugane Yôko's blog (starting with this entry), in which she does indeed appear to be involved in pseudo-banging a mannequin. Her later blog entries are cheekily titled Ken to watashi no aiyoku no hibi (Ken and I make passionate love everyday) and go on to describe how she wants Ken (the mannequin) all to herself because he knows how to please her.

The entire thing comes off as very tongue-in-cheek and mainly used to promote her upcoming DVDs and the photo layout in the current Flash, with "Ken" and fellow idol Matsumoto Sayuki, but this does appear to be another step in the Skankification of Matsugane Yôko. People who follow the idol industry surely remember what happened to Aoki Rin shortly after she started pseudo-banging things. Not to say that the same thing will happen to Yôko, very different circumstances, but given her recent predilication towards more sexually suggestive material (as mentioned in a previous news item and her recent DVDs like Chichi Shigure and Ultimate), I would how far she'll go? I couple of years ago I would have scoffed at a topless or nude Yôko. Now, I'm not so sure.
