X-Body
If there is a more physically perfect woman than Nemoto Harumi, I have yet to see her. There. I've said it. So you probably have pretty good idea of how this review is going to go. While X-Body is a solid piece of work, and showcases Nemo-chan's considerable beauty quite well, it's a little on the subdued side and the costuming is somewhat unimaginative - mostly just Harumi in bikini after bikini. However, that is definitely not a bad thing....
The DVD starts out with Nemo-chan posing around the grounds of a traditional Japanese house, at first in a light dress with the prerequisite really low cut top (some nice hints of cleavage here), then in a pink bikini which she fills out very nicely! Not a lot of motion here, mostly just Harumi lounging around in various parts of the house. She's also not called on to smile much here, but mostly gives the camera glances of smouldering sensuality which few others can match, let alone top.
Scene two is Nemo-chan in a kitchen fooling around with fruits and various cooking utensils. She's initially wearing an apron over her bikini, but flings it off after a few minutes. Harumi is playing around here and seems to be having a good time goofing off - using chopsticks like drumsticks, wearing plastic bowls as hats, and (for reasons unknown) piling apples, grapefruits and other assorted fruits on top of each other. She wears another pink bikini here which is almost indistinguishable from her first one. Nevertheless, she looks great and the camera gives us some full body shots, a couple of close ups of her spectacular boobs, and some of her beautiful, smiling face.
Next up is what looks like a resort. Harumi is playing pool in a bikini top and a wrap around her lower body. In perhaps the best scenes of the DVD, Nemo-chan leans over to shoot and the camera is right there to capture her in all her pendulous glory... a few times in slow motion as well.
Following the resort, they have Harumi in a leopard print bikini in what appears to be a chateau somewhere in the woods. She's gone back to her sensual personality, with lots of come hither stares. At first she poses indoors on some stairs (giving us several nice cleavage shots), then moves outdoors, where, much like the first scene, there isn't too much movement, mostly just still posing. While you can never get enough of Harumi on screen, it would be nice if she did something rather than just stand around (as aesthetically please as that might be).
In something of an odd choice, the next part seems to be outtakes from the rest of the DVD, with Nemo-chan chatting away with the crew, playing with a kitten, and cooking dinner for someone (on a personal note, it seems odd that the star would be cooking for the crew, but whatever). There are also a few scenes with her and some photographers as well, so I assume there may be photobook released sometime in the near future. Still, it's a nice little "personality" break, lest anyone forget that she's a real person, not just a sex object.
The final scene has Nemo-chan at the beach in a variety of bikinis - simple, but always a winner. She starts off in a red number, and then switches into a black one. She switches into one final black bikini which may rival the pool playing scene for best visual: how this final bikini did not rip apart I'll never know, as it really struggles to contain Nemo-chan's considerable assets. The main problem here is again the lack of any real motion - I'd say about 90% of the last scene is Harumi posing. Nary a bounce or jiggle anywhere, unfortunately. Still, the camera work is well done and always gives spectacular views of Nemo-chan.
While not the best of Nemoto Harumi's releases, X-Body is a solid DVD. While the classic bikini never goes out of style, I little more variety would have helped the proceedings about, as well as some more motion shots - c'mon: it's a DVD not a photo layout. Still, Harumi posing is better than no Harumi at all.
